BAS Integration Expert · Computrols

Nearly three decades of experience integrating building automation systems.

The true cost of a BAS isn't the install. It's the twenty years after.

Service contracts you can't escape
Support is gated behind the agreement, and the agreement goes up every year.
Software you don't own
Rented, not owned.
Forced upgrades
The manufacturer obsoletes your hardware or software, forcing expensive upgrades to a functioning system.
Rip and replace
The most expensive path, and usually the only one you're offered.

You own the building. Why shouldn't you own the control system?

The Computrols Method

Not every integration gives you control. Here's the difference.

A typical integration
✕
Translates
A translator box or JACE sits between you and the system. Messages get lost in translation.
✕
Adds layers
One more box, one more license, one more point of failure.
✕
Leaves you dependent
The same proprietary system underneath, and someone else still holds the tools.
A Computrols integration
✓
Speaks the language
Our hardware speaks the system's native protocol — Siemens, Johnson Controls, I/NET, BACnet, Modbus and more. Nothing is translated.
✓
Removes layers
A Computrols controller hosts the existing network and controls what's on it. Fewer boxes, fewer failure points.
✓
Hands you the keys
Software you own. The same tools our technicians use. Every point trended, always.

01
Evaluate
A detailed site evaluation of the controllers, network, and equipment. The proposal is built on what's actually there.
02
Design
What stays, what goes, and what happens when something fails — spelled out before you sign.
03
Integrate
Our hardware speaks the system's native protocol.
04
Support
One team, in-house, in the United States. Free technical support and a lifetime warranty on every controller we manufacture.
The right integration depends on the building
A single air handler or an entire campus. A system installed last year or twenty years ago. Mike will walk through six integrations and the architecture behind each one.
Live Q&A
Tell us what you're running and what's holding it back. We'll tell you what's possible.
"It's like X-ray vision. We were able to see into the system."
Zane Gifford, Chief Engineer · IUOE ITEC, Crosby, TX

Who should attend

Chief engineers, facility directors, property managers, and campus facilities teams responsible for a building automation system — whether it was installed decades ago or last year.

The buildings
Real buildings. Real outcomes.
Miami Tower
Miami, FL · 47 stories · JCI
Two generations of JCI that didn't talk. ~25% kWh reduction, ~$250,000 a year, 55% fewer hot/cold calls.
4000 MacArthur
Newport Beach, CA · Siemens
20–30 hot/cold calls a day. 25% energy reduction, payback under 3 months, maintenance agreement eliminated.
400 South Hope
Los Angeles, CA · 26 floors · Siemens
Insight front end, forced migration to Desigo. Integrated instead — migration underway, floor by floor.
IUOE ITEC
Crosby, TX · 265 acres · JCI / BACnet
570,000 kWh saved in 2025. $67,985 under budget against a ~61% rate increase.
La Jolla Commons
San Diego, CA · 302,000 sf · JCI
Tenant overtime-air billing on top of an untouched JCI system. Replaced a SaaS platform, ~2-year ROI.
International Plaza
Dallas, TX · 765,000 sf
Removed two layers of translators so CBAS talks directly to the SCUs.
